💸 The Bloo Tax Guide for SMEs & Freelancers

Let’s talk taxes again, but this time with clarity.

Taxes don’t have to be complicated. Whether you’re a freelancer managing multiple clients or an SME working with creative talent, understanding your obligations is key to avoiding surprises and staying compliant.

That’s why we partnered with Mcusi Accounting Services to create a simple Tax Guide for SMEs and Freelancers with practical tips for businesses or freelancers in the creative economy to track their tax obligations when working together on projects.

Inside, you’ll find:
✅ Templates to simplify your reporting (SARS declaration for SMEs, logbook for freelancers)
✅ Simple ways to track income and expenses (even if you hate spreadsheets)
✅ Practical tips for deductions, tax directives, and keeping accurate records

💡 Take control of your taxes today!

✍🏾 Beating Writer’s Block (Without Forcing It)

If you’ve ever stared at a blank page (or screen) and felt that familiar panic — you’re not alone. Writer’s block hits every creative eventually.

Here are a few real ways to break through it without burning out:
🧘 Step away from the screen sometimes your best ideas come when you’re not trying so hard.
☕ Change your environment a walk, a coffee shop, or even a playlist switch can reset your brain.
📝 Write badly, on purpose perfection kills flow. Get messy first; refine later.
📖 Read something unrelated inspiration often hides in unexpected places.

Remember: creative flow isn’t a switch it’s a rhythm. Be kind to yourself while you find it again.

Spring’s in the air, and so is creativity here are some opportunities on the horizon for creatives
